Jesus Sends Out the Seventy-Two

They go out and then they return really excited. The reports are great, God went before them and with them. Then Jesus said, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Going before the Father

• Praise God that Tunisians are going out to minister in different areas of the country. Also, there are foreigners involved in this ministry. Seek God’s protecting hand as they go out.
• They are connecting with and finding people interested Jesus, the Son of God. They are seekers of the truth. Pray for hungry hearts, pray for good soil for the words of Jesus to fall on, and pray for people entering into the Kingdom.
• Praise God that Satan has fallen like lightning from heaven. Pray that the Kingdom of God would continue to grow and expand. Jesus has given the authority to fight this enemy, pray that more believers would walk as if “nothing will harm” them.
• Pray that people would not rejoice over the submission of spirits. This might be exciting, but not part of His Kingdom.
• Continue to rejoice that your name and many other names are written in heaven.
