Ted grew up in Las Vegas and attended Calvary Chapel Spring Valley from 2001-2003. Ted previously worked as an inner-city missionary at a Las Vegas ministry for the homeless. He joined the Calvary Chapel staff members on a short term trip to Dumaguete, Philippines. A year later he moved to Manila, Philippines to work as a youth Pastor to the high school kids of the Smokey Mountain trash dump area. He published a discipleship booklet entitled, Bible Basics For New Believers, which is in both the English and Tagalog languages. This free ministry material was distributed to several thousand church members, Pastors, a jail, etc. During Ted’s time in the Philippines he married a fellow Filipina missionary, Janeth. After four years of living in the Philippines, Ted and Janeth relocated to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Janeth and I have been living in Phnom Penh and attending language school so that we can better share our faith with the Khmer people. I put together a team to retranslate the Bible Basics discipleship material into the Khmer language. We recently partnered with another missionary couple to plant a church. We began the church plant with a free English School. We currently have 30 students attending the school 3 nights a week. Our team began conducting Sunday morning services. Many of our English students come to our church services as well. It is our desire that the veil of Buddhism and the worship of spirits would be removed from their eyes so that they might see our Savior, Jesus Christ, for the first time.
