Tony Mercado - USAF - E6 Tech Sgt

Tony is currently serving as a PJ in Kadahar, Afghanistan. Recently, Tony lost four coworkers from his previous unit in NC during a helicopter attack in Afghanistan during a raid of a Taliban compound. Still having a month remaining on this deployment, he is unable to attend memorial services or funerals for his friends lost. This is the second summer in a row that Tony's career field has been impacted by tragic losses in life -men that have worked and trained with him for years throughout his career. I pray for Tony's safety, mental health, emotions and strength of faith. Please pray for him and the families of those close to him that lost loved ones: John Brown, Dan Zerbe, Andy Harvell and Keith Harmon. Please pray for Jonathan Courtright as well, he is a dear friend of our family who was best friends with John Brown and is struggling with this as well. The entire PJ community has been impacted and our men need our support.
