ABOUT

…”You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”… Mark 12:31

On Thanksgiving Day, Calvary Chapel Spring Valley will open its doors to the homeless and to those in need in Southern Nevada.

We will provide a warm Thanksgiving meal, shower, clothing, blankets, haircuts, medical and dental services and much more.

Our goal is to minister to homeless men, women, and children with the help from others in the community.

If you have any questions or would like to donate towards BlessFest, please contact Milena McAllister at milenamcallister@ccsv.net and/or Bobbie Garcia at bobbiegarcia@ccsv.net.

BUSINESSES

LOCAL BUSINESSES

Dear Local Community Supporter,

This Thanksgiving, we will hold our 7th annual Thanksgiving outreach, BlessFest, in order to assist the homeless in our city. Through this outreach, our local community has gathered together to assist the homeless through feeding our guests a Thanksgiving meal and providing an array of various services. We shuttle in over 1,500 homeless men, women and children to also provide basic needs such as medical services, social services, dental and legal services and many more. Throughout the years that we have continued with this community outreach, thousands of the homeless have been blessed with hospitality and treatment from volunteers who give up their time on Thanksgiving to serve them as honored guests.

As preparation is underway for BlessFest, we would like to ask you to partner with us in serving the homeless community on Thanksgiving day. On behalf of Calvary Chapel Spring Valley, a 501 (c) 3, non-profit, non-denominational church, we are requesting a donation to assist with the many items needed to make this a successful event. We also welcome volunteers to serve every year. Please see the “Donation” tab to view the list of donation items that we are in need of to undertake this outreach.

Thank you for considering the possibility of supporting the homeless people in our community. If you do decide that you would like to donate or get involved, please email me at bobbiegarcia@ccsv.net. We hope to hear from you!

Sincerely,

Bobbie Garcia
Ministerial Care Director
BlessFest Coordinator
