Shoulder the Burden
Calvary Chapel Spring Valley is hosting our first annual Thanksgiving Outreach for the homeless and those in need, serving thanksgiving meals, giving new backpacks filled with essential items and providing other services such as haircuts, showers, clothing, legal services, medical/first aide, dental screening, free phone calls, people search, e-mail, and letter writing. For the homeless with children, kid’s activities will also be available—face painting, bounce house and more.
When: Thursday, November 27, 2008
Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (Event Time)
Volunteer checkin begins at 6:57 a.m. (For morning shift 7 am - 12 pm)
Volunteer checkin begins at 11:07 a.m. (For afternoon shift 12 pm - 5 pm)
Note: Any new volunteers can register the day of the event in front of the gym.
